1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LINX Compass platform ("the Service"), operated by LINX Consulting ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LINX Compass is a behavioral assessment platform that measures behavioral tendencies across 15 dimensions. The Service provides dimension scores, behavioral archetype identification, cross-dimension insights, and role-fit recommendations based on your responses to assessment questions.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- One person may not maintain more than one account.
4. Assessment Use and Limitations
The LINX Compass assessment is a behavioral profiling tool designed to provide insights and recommendations. Please note:
- Results are based on self-reported responses and reflect behavioral tendencies, not absolute capabilities.
- The assessment is not a clinical diagnostic tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional psychological evaluation.
- Role-fit recommendations are suggestions based on behavioral alignment and do not guarantee job performance or suitability.
- Results should be used as one input among many in decision-making processes, not as a sole determining factor.
5. Payment and Refunds
- Assessment pricing is displayed before purchase. All prices are in USD.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Once an assessment has been fully completed and results generated, refunds are not available.
- If you experience technical issues that prevent you from completing your assessment, contact us for assistance.
6. Organizational Use
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or if an administrator has assigned you an assessment:
- The assigning administrator may have access to your assessment results.
- Your organization's use of results is governed by their own internal policies.
- We are not responsible for how your organization uses assessment results.
7. Intellectual Property
The LINX Compass assessment methodology, question bank, scoring algorithms, archetype definitions, and role-fit models are proprietary to LINX Consulting. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our assessment content.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share or distribute assessment questions or detailed scoring methodology.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithms or role-fit models.
- Complete assessments on behalf of another person or provide dishonest responses.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINX Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific assessment in question.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which LINX Consulting operates.
